Hitting the ground running.

This week’s project: meal planning for the week. Most of you probably already have that whole cooking thing under your spiffy little utility belt, but I, I have just begun to learn the art of timing biscuits, a steak, and scalloped potatoes to all be ready to eat at the same time. When I first was married, my husband thought it was cute that I served him “three-course meals”– first course was usually the steamed veggies, second course was the meat of the meal, and third course was often the salad, because I would always put it off until the steak was done. So, since I am now an eensy bit better at that, I have moved on to the art of meal planning. I have seen so many blogs and web sites that offer their versions of meal planning charts/calendars, etc. The scheduling part seems easy enough. However, making sure I only have to go to the grocery store once a week for “supplies” is more daunting. Anyway, tomorrow is shopping day, so I will report once I get back.

If you have any suggestions for meal planning, timing your steaks just right, stuff like that, please comment below – I can use all the help I can get! 🙂
