Corrie ten Boom’s story is one to be read and pondered quietly in the heart. She survived a concentration camp during WWII and went on to become a beloved speaker of encouraging words. She spoke on faith, love, even on surrender to God. In a way, I’m feel lazy about writing, but today is  a day I feel the need to be spoken to, rather than to speak. I’ve listed a few quotes from Corrie ten Boom below, in hopes that she will be able to speak to you where you are as well.

Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our path, is the perfect preparation for a future only He can see.

Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is to small to be made into a burden.

Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a center of fear.

Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart.

If God has called you, do not spend time looking over your shoulder to see who is following.
